How to Throw the Ultimate 'Parks and Recreation' Finale Party!

NBC

Grab all of the bacon and eggs you have and prepare to say goodbye.

Parks and Recreation is ending tonight, which means our lives are officially ruined.

But we need to remember all of the good times we shared with Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler), Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman) and the rest of our favorite Pawnee residents.

In order to properly say goodbye to the series that we adore with all our hearts, we at ETonline are going to throw the ultimate Parks and Rec farewell party, and you should too!

Obviously we know that having a bunch of people in your house is typically the absolute worst..

But this is the very last time that a new episode of Parks and Rec will ever grace your TV screens, so suck it up and let us help you plan a kicka** Pawnee-themed party.

(Just don't invite anyone named Garry, Jerry, Larry or Terry because they are the worst and will, without a doubt, ruin everything.)

1. DECOR: Your place should be filled with fine leather goods, and your outfit should be on point. This is the best day of the year and you should treat it as such.

Your playlist should consist of the smooth sounds of Duke Silver

Ginuwine
and his special tribute to Li'l Sebastian...

And of course this ultimate crowd pleaser:

Make sure tiny hats are available to all future drunk guests.

And of course no party is complete without the most ferocious decoration of them all:

2. FOOD: Your menu should consist of an endless amount of bacon and eggs.

And no, we do not mean just a lot of bacon and eggs. An INFINITE amount!

It should go without saying, but if you do not have waffles at your party, then you are clearly not living life to its fullest.

And for the love of Leslie, don't you dare forget the whipped cream.

All beverages should be consumed in Paunch Burger's 512-oz. "child size" cup.

We can't legally recommend this, but if you want to fill your cups with Snake Juice, we think that would be an excellent decision.

This is to ensure that everyone will get absolutely, and completely wasted.

3. ACTIVITIES: Now that your guests are buzzed to perfection, and have likely forgotten the fact that Parks and Rec is ending, crank up your favorite Mouse Rat song and dance it out.

Just be careful the music isn't too loud or else you'll get a visit from a cop (who's nowhere near as bada** as Burt f**king Macklin) that you'll have to deal with.

Bestow a Leslie and Ann-inspired term of endearment on all viewing party attendees, you beautiful tropical fish:

A rousing game of Cones of Dunshire is always a great choice (that is, if you actually understand the rules...)

And get ready to tune into the finale and say goodbye to the characters that brought infinite smiles to your face for the past seven years.

Even though you're about to live in a Parks and Rec-free world, take a cue from Leslie and try to stay positive when you realize you're heart is being ripped from your chest.

If you do all of these things, it will LITERALLY be the best Parks and Recreation party ever.
